AR Barrels.

I've got 2 Questions actually.

1) since Ar's are restricted already..can barrels be cut down and still be legal?

2) Where can AR barrels be bought??

1) Any rifle barrel thats is cut down and ends up <18" is prohibited regardless of what length it started out at or whether it was restriced/non-restricted. There was lots of discussion on this and still is. Ask Armseast for confirmation.

2)Dlask, Wolverine etc. lots of places sell barrels seperately.

You could buy any length barrel and have it installed on your upper. The lower is the part that is registered as restricted or prohibited.
