AR Carrying case

What is everyone using to carry their AR to the range? Every case I've seen is much to long for an AR.

I know that Wanstalls has them...I do have the hard cases also but find I don't care for them too much (heavier/bulkier). Another place you might try is LAPolicegear.com (down in the States...), they do ship to Canada but deal in 5.11 gear/maxpedition stuff. Just my opinion...

I have my 20" AR in a Pelican 1750 with two pistols and the foam in.

If I take out one layer of foam I can get my AR, M1A, 870 and 3 pistols inside.

Cheapo walmart case and fill up the extra space with mags and ammo.
