AR collapsible buffer tube locking rings

But what would happen to the people who produce those special wrenches, and the people who display them prominently at gunshows, so we'll know they're pro's :D
 
a standard nut would be much better then the supplied castle nut provided, since finding this tool is difficult and annoying. Even more worse, since u have to wait for shipping times if you buy from a website distributor. If you bought your stock locally, you could always get the sales person to put it on for you. Altho they sometimes charge $40 fee, and you do not have the convienance to interchange your stocks that suits your mood.
 
No big deal.

If you don't have the proper wrench, a brass punch and hammer will do just as well.

No matter how tight you get it, it will come lose. That's why the castle nut is staked to the receiver end plate at the factory.
