AR cycling with low powder level

just curious.. if a cartridge only had enough powder in it for the bullet to reach the end of the barrel and not exit.. could the bolt still cycle? or would you need significantly more powder for the bolt to cycle..

You need pressure and gas volume to cycle a weapon. In other words, It wouldn't work.
