Just curious as to what type of glass would be the best bang for your buck for my AR. Was thinking something smaller, along the lines of the Burris AR 132,332,536.. Thoughts on these sights? Wolverine has a the 332's for 405.00 right now, about 50 dollars cheaper than Cabela's.

I'm a scope user, admittedly I don't know much about these sights. I like 1-4x.
The 132 is 1x, yes?
The 332, fixed 3x? Nice fov, weight's ok
536 ? Sh!tty fov, heavy.
Burris had little info on their site, that I could find.

If the 332 is 1x & 3x, that's what I'd use. Like TDC says, it would fit my shooting. I don't know about yours.
I kill a lot of paper plates, CQ style. I like 1x. I find it way too hard to shoot, while moving, with any magnification. I also like to shoot distance, I do all right with 4x.

I have owned a couple of AR 332's and they are a fantastic little optic for the price. I used them in -30 hunting coyotes and +25 shooting at the range and had zero problems. Bullet drops worked as advertised with 55 gr ammo and like the fact that you had 3 options for color of the reticle. Battery life was good. They usually sell used on the board here for $300 if you wait, there is usually a few on there at a time.

Cheers!!

I have a 536 and it works quite well for me. Not sure it's much use at 100 yds, but it def works well at 50yds. At 100 yds I like to have an actual scope with decent magnification.

If you are shooting precision/bench shooting at 100+yrds, then yes, you'd probably want more magnification than a 1-4(or 8x) scope. If you are shooting an IPSC sized target or large gongs at 100yrds - 300yrds, you should be able to do that with a 1-4x (or 8x) scope unless you've got really bad eyes.

It all depends on what type of shooting the OP is going to be doing.
