i should mention i want the one like on the stag model 2T
I saw on the web that the Stag 2T has a Samson rail. Troy and Samson = the same, so try to get either one of those. Call Walt at AEI, he's the guy to talk to regarding Stag stuff.
For the 3-point sling, I asked around some months ago and almost everybody told me to get a 2-pointer. It does the same as a 3-point but with less hassle. I have the Vtac on my first AR, but I plan to get a Blue force Vickers. Guys on CGN seem to find it the best.

A good quality for the price is Mi (Mid-west Industries), Wolverine has them. Surefire also makes a rail which I have heard are pretty nice.
Samson is no longer making rails, lawsuit with Troy, but this rail is very nice if you want a continuous top rail look. I like the Samson very much.
Daniel defense are nice and light.
KAC is the cats ass but very hard to come by, I love the RAS II for using an Aimpoint.
For a sling I use a Specter single point or a CQB 3-point.

We actually have the new STAR-C rail from Samson in stock. Push buttom bottom lockup, v. cool. Same one on the 2T.
