Looking at buying some components to reload for my AR.... I have a 1 in 7 twist so a 68gr BTHP should work the best.... any comments. If I wanted to buy bulk .223 would 55grs stabilize in the barrel?

a 1 in 7 should do 55-80 grs.

1:7 will stabilize any commonly available .224" size bullet. You can use 40gr if you want. What made you think you couldn't?

I use 55 grain .224 FMJBT propelled by 24.5 grains of H335. Makes for a nice bang.
