10"-12.5" = CQB (typically 10.5")
14.5" = Carbine
16"-18.5" = Mid-length
20" and up" = Rifle

16" has traditionally been identified as carbine length, rifle = 20"+

No, no, NO. This will never do. If you make a rule like this then people won't be able to post pics of their 18" middies in a PDW thread and we won't see pics of a 7" PDW in a long range rifles thread. Things will make sense, be organized and free from anarchy and then where will we be?
