Anything I need to know before I order one of these?

I assume they contain all the parts and springs needed?

Any quality difference between manufacturers?

And when you are told you can use drill bits as roll pin punches, don't listen to them. Get some REAL punches from Brownells, like this one,

Then go buy a 1/16" drill bit.

That is messed up!! I was under the impression brownells offered quality products, I guess not. Maybe I should go track down the Snap-on truck before my lower gets here.

Really any 1/16th punch is quite fragile. I use 2-3 of them a year.

There is a shorter version of the Brownells roll pin punch which is designed to be used to start the pin moving. It is more resistant to bending due to it's short length.

I use the Brownells replaceable tip pin punches. Break a tip, replace it and carry on. They come in standard and starter lengths.....the starter is shorter so it is less flexible, and they do not bend....they just break...

I've broken and bent my share of those little punches...Princess Auto has some pin punch sets for pretty cheap, with lots of sizes in them. So far they've held up.
