Has anybody here replaced their squishy AR trigger with an aftermarket unit? I'd be interested to know what you chose and how it's working out for you.

Also, what's involved in installing a replacement? Is this as simple as, say, swapping out a 10-22 trigger assembly, or are we talking some half serious gunsmithing?

I replaced one of my AR-15 triggers with one of the Geissele trigger sets from Arms East. It made a huge difference in trigger pull weight and feel, not it's breaking crystal clean. It took me about 15 min to replace the old set with the new and I used only a punch set to drive out and in the pins. Great product and an excellent dealer to deal with.

Especially on the dealer...

For affordable, the RRA drop-in 2-stage at Questar is hard to beat. I use that in my long range rig and am very happy with it.

ANYTHING is better then the standard trigg that comes with it. Dont hesitate on picking up an aftermarket one be it RRA, Gies, Tim.....

And you can easily do it yourself. GO YOUTUBE!!
