AR Mag Pouches?

Any suggestions... there seems to be a plethora of them out there but which are good?

Depends on what you want to use them for. I use TT triple mags for work. They are simple and easy. I've tried everything else but keep going back to TT. The ITW fast mags are pretty good. A little bulky though, but if you don't need a ton of mags they are quick.

Not sure if you hacve a vest you just want to ad pouches too, but I have an Original SOE AK/M4 Micro Rig that is extremely nice, custom made for left handed too.

Consider also whether you are running metal mags or the bulkier Pmags when you make your choice. I find Pmags a bit tougher to place into and remove from a shingle or pouch.

Thanks for the replies. I was looking at running somthing like the CPGear KISS rig with 4 single mag pouches or one of the 3 mag shingle. I would be using some pmags as well as some of the 10 rounders. I was hoping to find a system that would work with both. Are there any good kydex at pouches that will work with a molle system and fit the 10 rounders?

ITW Fast mags. They fit Pmags and 10rnders (with some kinda pull). They are also molle compatible and the new gen III are stack-able. If carrying 10+ mags on you isn't a priority, then the fast mag will work.

Bladetech

What do you use it for?
For 3gun and IPSC type rifle matches I use a Bladetech kydex leg rig for 3 mags. This way I still have room on my belt for handgun mags and shotgun ammo in the california competiton works holder.
The open top kydex pouches are faster than reloading from a chestrig

You want it on your belt or on you load bearing gear? On the belt, I will think the Kydex stuff is the best way to go.

It is a toss up between load bearing and belt... my hope is to start doing some two gun stuff... so to keep my AR loads on a load bearing rig and pistol mags on the belt... but i may want to transition those AR loads onto a drop leg or somthing to that effect... would Kydex be ok placed on the chest... as long as the retention is ok I dont see it being an issue...
