AR Midlength rail option ? new build.

Looking at getting a rail for my midlength. What options are available? I'm looking at a rail that goes further than the front sight.

I want to build smth like this with a 12" rail.

I like the Omega rails from Daniel Defence, they go on easy by screwing into the delta ring... For the gas block, they should be tapered pings, just knock them out... They'll probably a bit hard the first time.... You can get the Daniel Defence low profile gas block, or there's one from S&J hardware that works with it too...

Other than Daniel defense who else makes a nice 12" rail??

Samson makes a nice lightweight fore-end and I think they do a 12". This is an 11" on a carbine length gas system with a cut down front sight base.

Almost every rail out there comes in 10"-12" or longer... Troy, Daniel Defense, Larue, etc...

Looking at the trx and trx extreme from Troy. Any reviews? Also looking at the Samson 12" from Questar. I've sent pm to cqbservices and no reply.

You can also lookup Fabsports they've got both the Troy and the Samson I believe, DS Tactical has some of the Samsons as well

Checkout Yankee Hill Machine ( YHM) Diamond Series rails.
They are well built and well priced.
The rail seamlessly blends into the upper receiver rail with no gaps.
