any one have or know where to get a complete parts list?

im looking for a list where i can cross reference my build list to make sure i got everything right down to the springs and specialy the lil bits

here... it is a standard issued A2, but mostly the same as a carbine

A lot of military based firearms are just that simple. They have to be: every simpleton Joe & Jane have to trust them as much as the intelligent Canadians must. A good IQ can't be a prerequisite to using one.

Debate the 5.56 all you want, but the platform is going well for its age. :D
 
True enough...thats why i want to build one, after all these years the platform is still the most reliable and widely used platform on the market
 
rather than purchasing every little pin and spring separately,there are upper and lower parts kits which contain all the small parts you will need for to assemble your upper/lower.there are several manufacturers like daniel defense,NEA, and dpms which sell parts kits.keep in mind some parts kits are better quality than others.they also differ in price.check availability with the sponsors at the top of the page.if you need tools check brownells in the US,tools ship easily gun parts are more difficult.good luck!

thats kind of why i wanted to build an AR instead of buying one off the shelf, while building it i will get to be very involved and know my rifle..
 
And it's addictive as all he11...before you know it you'll have 5 AR's and the better half will be after you! Ask me how I know...ok, don't. :)

Already got the bug...I've rebuilt mine (each) a couple times over...I've got so many "left over" parts that I keep thinking of grabbing another couple lowers to finish off another rifle (or 2...)...wifey's not too happy with me :( (that's what shoes are for :D...for her).
