Anyone give this a try? I know the piston would likely need to be cut to fit as an ar piston kit protrudes into the upper further than a wk piston does. The Siberian piston hole is the same size as a gas tube. I’m going to measure the height over bore and see where it’s at. I’d like to try a rifle length kit if possible as that would open up options for NR barrel choices

The hole is at a different location, and is higher up on the receiver. It will not work without some fairly major receiver modifications.
I was going to look into the Brownell's brn180 gas system but then I got distracted by something else that was shinier and I never followed through on it. the brn is a 180 design so it should be compatible. the only bit of info I found is that a second party is making the dedicated uppers to fit the AR15 lower and some gas system bits are available on the brownell's website. let us know if you have any luck.
