Does mixing brass (civ vs Mil) make a big difference when loading Plinking rounds for an AR?

Will there be a noticable difference?

Not really.
Unlike in 7.62/308 the 5.56/.223 cases all have very similar capacity so loads should shoot close to the same POI regardless of case.
I load Federal AE brass and Lake city interchangeably, and often get 1" 5 shot groups at 50m using mixed loads. (out of my Kel-tec with RDS)
