can this be done? should this be done? it seems that sometimes, most often with the first round of a mag, the cartridge fails to slide up the ramp, the bolt doesn't even reach its detents for the forward assist, it only moves 1/4" and the fmj bullet tip hits just below the feed ramp. has anyone made these a little lower, and bigger etc.? i know its a hot topic on 1911's, but i never hear about this sort of thing with AR's, my old sp1 had this problem sometimes, and this one seems to be as well. these are handloads im using, just seating the bullet to factory lengths/crimping groove on a 55gr fmj bt. the right side seems to happen more frequently.. its an m16 bolt and carrier if it matters, any insight?
