AR question

i dont know much about ARs so sorry if this is a stupid question

if i was to buy a full 9mm AR, and a .22LR complete upper, would i be able to just use the lower or would there be things in the lower that would need changing.

when i had me .22lr AR upper it was interchangeable /w the lower i use /w my .223 upper. I think it depends on your 9mm AR, the Oly Arms 9mm rifle looks like it may not be able to handle a .22lr/.223 upper.

not 100% sure on this, but from what I've heard....in some cases you will need to have a different hammer/trigger setup and maybe a different buffer too.
