I was looking at this product on Buffer Technolgies web site, and found it very intersting. I'm curious if anybody has one or has heard anything about them.

The unit simply replaces the stock recoil buffer in the recoil-spring assemble, and is stated to reduce felt recoil, improve accuracy, reduce rate of fire, 1-year warrenty, and other stuff. (www.BufferTech.com)

Check it out....what do you guys think about this product?

Thanks,
Pietro.

Just recieved it a few days ago.....went to the range and put 200 rounds of WinUSA 62 gr. FMJ's through my AR-15, and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!

Theres much less jumping around when shooting quickly, much less recoil, and is a good addition to my AR package including SureFire M73 Picatinny rail with TangoDown Vertical Foregrip

I would recommend getting the AR-Restore Buffer to anyone.
Does anyone else have one of these puppies?

Where did you get it and how much??

also what barrel length is your AR??

thanks

No, I ordered it straight from BufferTech in the US of A. The TangoDown vertical grip was around $65.00 USD and the AR-Restor Buffer was $89.00 USD plus I had to pay $20.00 CND at the post office due to the packages weight.

There web-site it very user friendly, and making orders is as easy as typing in your info and pressing "Process Order". In less than 2 weeks it will be at your front door.

.....and the barrel length on my AR-15, its a Bushmaster A3 "Shorty Carbine" with H-BAR 1 in 9 twist.

I would recommend both of these products to anyone who wants to make some nice upgrades to their AR-15....BufferTech even has the SureFire Picatinny M73 rail ($199.00 USD) essential if you want the TangoDown vertical battle grip.

A recoil buffer for an AR15?:p I'm gonna go chew some crushed glass and put some magnum slugs through my 14" 870...all the while chuckling about you girls!:p ;) :D

go do that;) anything that makes follow up shots faster is GTG for me....its not for the recoil just speed

Ya, its not about the "power" being too much....I'm sure everybody know the light recoil of a .223 Rem round, its like shooting a 9mm. But when you fire the AR-15 with a stock/factory buffer the bolt carrier bounces of the inner tube and can cause the rifle to jump/bounce when pop'n shots off...this can effect follow up shoots, or your groupings in quick-firing drills.

The AR-Restore buffer totally eliminates this problem by utilizing a hydraulic buffer system, which cushions the bolt carrier as the action spring compresses. In a nut shell....it makes the process of pop'n of rounds as smooth as butter.

.......And by the way, I eat 3" Magnums for breakfast!!! Son!
