AR SBR . Who has one and what is it?

Did it take you guys a long time to choose sights (front, rear or brand)

I was told A"R"M"S" was the way to go . (I had a choice between IM or Troy and I chose Troy). I would of chose HK front sight but all they had was M4/AR ,so... that's what I'm getting.

For flash suppressors, I'm no expert but the Noveske can , I was told was good for sound and flash. And the other I noticed a few members have with the puckered tip is ? looks really good (any good?) I have a Neitarms (forget the name).

What do most people use to carry mags ?
Regular magpul mag holsters (like those single one I see)
or a chestrig, and what kind?

Picx would be nice

Nope. Troy folding M4, hands down. If you're going for weight, MBUS.

Really depends on barrel length, but for me the PWS CQB is the only way to fly. Can't speak to the 'Flaming Pig' (have never had the opportunity to try it).

I'm getting almost no flash even with the factory A2 flash hider. Here's a shot showing maximum flash my rifle has with Federal 62 grain ammo. (Sorry for the quality--it's a frame grab from a video)

Nice rig,

You're right almost nothing. Is that a H1 or T1 from Aimpoint(I can't tell the dif).

Anyone ever shoot it inside. How's the noise?

I'm just getting into "SBR" AR's, here's my first purchase, have only had it a couple weeks so no mods yet other than putting my Eotech on.

Rock River Arms 7.5" in .223 I haven't put a stock on it yet as I'm actually having fun shooting it without. I think because it feels so light and maneuverable.

Nice,

I always wanted to ask. The rear ''arm'' is that bcz your pistol has to be a certain size or it's for the spring like the FN?

Sounds nice! Post pics when you have a chance... The only (minor) suggestion I would make is to ditch the original trigger guard with either a KAC or Magpul one. You might want to try out a BAD, but that's more personal preference than anything else (and you'd need the standard bolt release).

im in the middle of building mine, so i cant really commment on how much i really like it yet but everything seems prefect so far:

-the whole Magpul MOE set, with trigger guard
-Questar's 11.5 match barrel
-AAC blackout 51T
-DD A1.5 rear sight
-DD lpk
-DD upper
-Magpul BAD, ASAP and MS2 sling
-BCM gunfighter ch

I got an itch for a failzero bolt, and a DD lower to complete the build but it might depend on availability for those two..

fell free to comment on the build if you'd like, I appreciate other take on it.

Questions :
1- What about some of the AR you see with folding stocks ...how does that work?
Were you thinking of the Para Ordnance TTR? It's an AR-style rifle with a folding stock

+1 I really like the Magpul trigger guard on mine, and it's an easy install, too.

Larue upper with Larue 11in gooseneck SBRS freefloat rail. 10.5 in dlask stainless barrel. Mounted on a spikes lower. Firm believer that u dont need to spend $$$$$ on high end lowers as long as they fit tight and you like their engraving!

Nothing like getting a BCG that won't work with your upper/barrel.

SBR is an artificial American term from their 1934 FA act. I don't like using it.

AR carbines are generally considered to have barrels 16in and under. That is a better term.

As for the Knights SR-15 compatibility, you need to match the bolt to the barrel extension as it is proprietary (at least for the E3 version).
