14.5in LMT M4gery
LMT upper/lower, 2 stage trigger
NF 1-4 in a Larue mount
LMT SOPMOD buttstock
KAC micro buis
Now wearing KAC trigger guard (not shown)
LMT FA BCG
H buffer

10.5in LMT Mk18 clone
LMT upper, LMT LEO marked lower
Aimpoint T1 in Aimpoint riser
KAC RAS
Surefire Millennium with LED
KAC VFG
LMT rear buis (now has a KAC flip up, too)
LMT FA BCG
H buffer

Also a KAC SR15 decked out upper not in the picture.

The only reliability problem that I've had is running 5.56mm 75gn Hornady TAP through the shorty. Short strokes, perhaps due to the slow burning powder.

Wow,

You guys have some AWESOME rigs. I see a few of you have the Aimpoint T1 I was thinking of getting of getting that or maybe be cheap about it and getting a Sparc flame.

What are you guys running as a sling ? (1 point ,2 point or 3) I hear the Gear Sector GS-3P a 3 point sling that you can transition faster than the troy(forget what it's called)

How many of you run different uppers (like 9mm,.22lr or like a 24 inch upper for long range?)

Also how many of you bought parts that just didn't turn out that good (not to say s**t ...D'oh!) and would not recommend no your worst ennemy (well, ...maybe you would) lol

Thanks for the post and picx (keep them coming)

Learning as he goes ... 1ronM@n

I'm running a single point Tactical Link bungee sling and a Troy Industries QD swivel two point sling mount.

Maybe you're thinking of an XCR, ACR or SCAR; you can't have folding stocks on ARs due to the requirement of the extension tube for the buffer/spring assembly (closest I've seen is a very short stock on the HK416C).

I'd like a setup like this or have it as an option .

Lr 300 from ZM weapons

I run only Blueforce Gear Vickers two point slings.

I didn't use the term (that we will not name) to annoy people . I just wanted to see who out there had one (tons more than I thought btw) and see what cool ideas/setups people had to give me a better insight on how to setup mine.

So from now on when I shall ask you if you want to see "MLF" please don't run away or Ban me. It will be just my "My Little Friend" , ok (after rereading this post ...that sounds bad too

OK ! Let's have a vote on what to call there type of rifle (I was thinking Al Pacino in Scarface) but now all I think about is ....Psst , hey buddie...want to see my "MLF" ...lol

Oh , and a big thank you ...I'm going to have to get a second job to buy all the cool accessories to go with my new toy. I'll accept any tips on where to get the best prices....please ...I beg you

:)

Very Bad SRB/CQB

I figured I would upload a new photo because the last one did not even come close to doing it justice. This one is about 99% done.
I have a few rail covers to install and finalize, but this is sporting the Aimpoint T1 Micro on the new Matech mount. I can honestly say
that this particular build has been one of the most enjoyable piecing together over the last year or so!

Blaxsun, what kind of co-witness does the Matech mount give with your irons?

DROOOooooooooool....slurp

Blaxsun,

Very nice. What type of lower is it. it has the trigger guard modified already. I like it and I've always wanted to know what is the little rod that seem to hold the trigger pins. you see it above the trigger well on the frame.

Thanks! That is a SOCOM Stubby ARC lower with an integrated trigger guard (it's part of the forged lower and can't be modified). The little rod is the connector for the stainless steel KNS anti-rotation pins (Questar carries these). They just reduce wear and tear on your lower receiver since the trigger pins are fixed in-place (more beneficial for full auto than anything else, but everything helps in the long run).
