AR scope mount

Looking for some opinions/advice on sourcing a quality mount for my AR.
NOT interested in QR's, not needed. 30mm. Cantilever style.
I am probably going to get laughed at, but I really like the Aero Precision mount I have, super light and well machined. Have another build in the works and looking for options.

Vortex makes a nice one as well at a decent price. JP makes a nice one at a high price.

Liking the AP mount, the way the rings go together is different, some might question that, but the design seems to work.

I've never seen any Aero stuff that wasn't good.

The Burris bolt-on PEPR and the Vortex work good for me.

Aero is nice... Check Saskatoon Gun Works.

The Burris PEPR is great too.

Probably a dumb question. But what's wrong with regular high rings on an ar?
Why does everyone always go with a 1 piece cantilever mount?

The cantilever puts it in the correct position for proper eye relief. Regular rings don't work with the eye relief for many scopes.

I've used Vortex and PEPR. Both satisfactory. Conventional high extension rings might work, but one piece cantilever mounts are stronger.

I've seen some run a micro RDS like a Fastfire atop glass. Helps with the CQB portions.

I run a .45 degree currently and seems like the most common method. It works well and I have looked as some cheep combo scopes and didn't really like how they presented.
Was curious to see what others thought.

I too think the 45 offset is a better setup myself.

The Aero are great mounts, I ran one last season and saw no drift from zero with multiple barrel/table dumps. Really light too. I switch to a higher mount to try this season(which I like) but if Areo made a high version of their mount I would switch back as the ADM I'm running now is heavy and doesn't seem to hold it's zero quite as well when knocked around.

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this but after owning and using both the Areo and the PEPR the Areo is superior IMO.
