ANyone care to share their setups for IPSC rifle, doesn't have to be AR.
I currently have mine set up with a holosight, mag well and JP spring kit, but I am thinking of changing my optic set up to a dual optic; Acog clone, and J-point clone, with offset mount for the J-point. Any opinions are welcome.

tempting,.......oh so tempting. :p If you like the sks, you'll love the CZ-858. I had one and it was a very decent rifle for the money.

No...your set up is fine. I mainly run with my 11.5 (AR), EOTech, GG&G MAD B/U sights. I also like and use a Tango/vert grip...this is the set up I have on both my 11.5 & 14.5. Scopes not really required as most shooting is only out to a 100yrds (around here anyway). It's what ever works for you...the Operator.

I like my set up, just concerned I may get to a match where 200yd shots may be the norm. I like my set up, although a muzzle break may help, along with a decent rail system for some added weight, bipod, and other goodies;) .
ONe thing I have seen appearing on AR's over the last few years are the Vertical grips. I had one on my 1st AR, but could not get used to it. I was taught to shoot with a .22 bolt action rifle, and it is hard wired in my system to place my weak hand on the rifle in a traditional way, not with a fore grip.

If you are zeroed for 100, your mpi will only raise 2"-2.5" at 200.
I'd leave well enough alone, it's simple and simple works.

you dont really need a sling for IPSC 3 gun as you can only carry 1 firearm at a time. I use a BFG Anaconda Breachers Sling from One Shot Tactical. Awesome sling!

Thanks for the advice on the 858 I've been coveting one for awhile but for the number of 3 gun matches we have out east I just can't justify it.

I just need a beater defender to go with my beater carbine and my dollarama tactical gear and I am good to go.

The biggest improvement I could ever make to my 3 gun game is to stop eating

At the AGM on sunday, I am going to ask around, I bet Abman or Chris could manage a 2gun level2 match (rifle/handgun, or rifle shotgun. )
