AR Shilen Barrels are Now Available

Well, the paperwork is all in place and I am officially an authorised Shilen Barrel Dealer

AR barrels come Contoured, and PreThreaded.

I look forward to bringing in other products like Bullets, Scopes, Triggers, Brass, some dies and accessories. Just waiting for the proper paperwork to get settled which should happen in the next month or so.

My goal is to offer difficult to find items catering to the Precision shooter. Great pricing and availability is my goal.

Contoured Blanks
Shilen's contoured AR-15 blanks are made with the gunsmith in mind. Using Shilen's match grade blanks and then placing precision centers in each end before they are contoured gives us the ability to hold near-finished dimensions while providing the gunsmith an opportunity to reduce the work required to produce a custom AR barrel for their customer. Gas block dimensions are left +0.010" oversized to allow for final fit by the gunsmith. Overall length is extended 0.750" on the breech end to also allow for the cutting of the thread shank and final chambering by the gunsmith.

Pre-Threaded Blanks
These pre-threaded AR-15 blanks take the convenience of our contoured blank one step further by pre-cutting the thread shank area in a CNC lathe. While the barrel is in the lathe a barrel extension is screwed on by hand to verify final fit and left married to that individual barrel. Gas block dimensions are left +0.010" oversized to allow for final fit and chambering by the gunsmith. (Barrel extension pin not included)
