I really like the look of factory AR sight,. I have an upper that needs one to be complete. As far as i know the original goes its pinned. Does anyone know where i can get one that goes on with set screws/. Does such thing exist? or should i get a take off and try to put it on. I really do not want to deal with cutting into the barrel to make room for the pins.
Also i would like to know who around here ( sponsors) sells troy sights i saw it before and now i cant find it...
Thought one more question. What would be a decent optic to put on this rifle? I Like something similar to aimpoint but bit lower priced. cant afford $600 on a $1000 gun, say $200-$300 area?i only shoot about 100m distance
thanks

I bought an Armalite sight tower that is clamped on with screws rather than pins from Wolverine a few years back. Give them a shout.

The above YHM sight is an awsome piece of kit. You can also just drill and tap standard FSB and install your own set screws. Its a common practice in the US,especially with the military shooting teams and high power rifle guys. Handy for those that are constantly messin with their guns but need to maintain stock apearance/function.

I took my f marked front sight and cut the bayo lug off, drilled and tapped two 10-32 holes in the bottom and used 10-32 x 3/16 set screws. I dimpled the barrel afeter i lined the sight up, loctited and staked the set screws. I am currently on vacation but can post a pic next wek when i get home. Wolverine has the clamp on armalite sight listed on their website.
