Never had a sling on my AR15. Any recommendations? 1 point, 2 point, type? I just shoot mostly off hand so I was thinking a sling, so I don't always have to put my gun down when resting between groups.

2pt adjustable sling is ideal for most rifles.

Single point for compact PDW's

3pt if you're doing a reenactment. ;)

I own these 4 slings and would rate them in this order.

#1 Haley Strategic D3 sling
#2 Savvy Sniper
#3 BFG ( feels cheap compared to other 2 )
#4 Magpul ( feels even cheaper than the other 3 )

All these slings do 1-2-3 point depends on how you configure them, 2 Point is my go to for training.

I reckon you might have a new #1 if you got the Ferro Concepts Slingster. Conveniently approved by two of my favourite youtubers. You'd be supporting a great Canadian company too.

They're hard to find in stock anywhere because they sell out so damn fast.

I was in love with my magpul slings for the longest time, until I finally bit the bullet and grabbed a slingster. My only regret is not getting one sooner.

I run a QD on the rear plate at the buffer tube/lower point, and a hook up front where my rail begins on my MK18. I can go from a 2 point to single point in seconds if need be, and its hilariously easy to with the loop attachment.

Back in March they quoted me a 6-8 week restock time for Multicam Black, but then they found out I was in Canada and they gave me a one-off link to buy one directly from them. Now that's good business! At the time (still might be?) MC Black was exclusive to SKDTAC and the shipping would cost as much as the sling itself.

Removed the padded BFG's and replaced them with these. They are lighter/low profile. Very comfortable.

I gotta get a hold of them for a multicam black one. Easily the best slings on the market and they're Canadian.
