AR small parts in GVRD?

Grrr...so I was just about to start assembling my upper, was going through my parts to make sure I had everything and realized I'm missing the snap ring for my ejection port cover. Always some small sh1t that wrecks my plans. I know I can put it in later but I still have to track one down.

I don't really want to pay freight to ship a 50 cent part across the country. Is there anywhere likely to have one somewhere in Van city or the lower mainland ? Checked CTCS and Reliable but didn't see anything.

Hmedepot screw and fastner isle or Reliable, parts like snap rings are too small for them to list on the website, you just have to walk in and they will dig it out from their parts bin.

I don't know what size you need for that specific part, but I did a quick search at hardware stores and a ton of sizes came up. Might be able to find it there too.

I need AR 2 extractors. Think CTSC has them? Who would think I break one, so I grab the other AR. 3 Days later that one breaks too!

Call Reliable. They have BOXES of small parts that aren't on the website.

When you think about it, shipping will be less than the gas into Vancouver and back!! Good luck!

Yeah, thats sucks. I'd say find some friends who needs to make a Brownells order and have them add that piece. I feel your pain.
