AR Stock on 858 - Advice

I'm looking to put an AR stock on my rifle. What parts, or tools do I require? Any tips? I'be got an NEA in-line stock adapter, milspec buffer tube assembly and a CTR stock on order.

You're gonna need a big screwdriver. Otherwise its a pretty straight upgrade. I believe Stevo did a nice review of using AR stocks with CZ 858s on Milsurp.com

Pretty easy.Big screwdriver to take the old one off.Put on the adapter plate and then the AR mount.Screw the buffertube/stock into the adapter and lock the lock ring and you should be good to go.Got two like that but with the Rauch adapter.

You're going to need a huge flat screwdriver and possibly a heatgun/torch and a vice. Once you get the screw out the rest is easy.

Also make sure to get an AR butt stock wrench that looks like this to make your job of tightening the casttle nut that much easier

Where might one purchase a castle nut wrench?

Surely one of the GP shooters will have one, I'll ask around.

Another item may be a End plate. It keeps all aligned. Works excellent with the NEA adapter:

That only works with the railed adapter. Not needed or used on the regular AR adapter like this one:

That look is what I'm after. With the Bushness TRS-25 on the NEA handguards for co-witness, I'd like a bit more length and a lower cheek weld.

Then you will be looking for the Dlask version as it has the same pitch as the orignal stock but allows you to use the AR style rear stocks.

The straight NEA adapter works fine too for co-witnessing with a TRS-25.

OK, I finally got it all together and it looks and feels great! The CTR stock does sit a little higher, so it's kind of hard to tell if my view of the sights is too high, or just right. I'll have to take it out and shoot it to be sure. The extra weight on the back end does add some nice balance, as well. Can't wait to get it out to the range and run it in TR next week! Whoo!
