I want to either build or buy complte not sure which way to go yes i want 5.56 18 inch barrel looking to spend no more than 2600 starting to stress me out which way to go love working on guns and pulling them apart but never pulled apart ar15 have shot some ar 15s not sure which way to go yet thanks for any help

I have several nice AR-15s including 2 Noveskes that I built myself.
Just after Sandy Hook I bought a Stag 3G (18" SS barrel) it has the Geissele S3G trigger installed.
I have shot a couple of thousand rounds through it with great results.
The trigger has a hybrid pull which is very light.
I would highly recommend this rifle.
It's in the $2,000 price range.

Well im looking if i buy daniel defence or armalite 3 gun compitision i really like that trigger on the new armalite and the rail that stag 3 g sounds like a sweet rifle

Building is cheaper if you are willing to wait until deals arrive. However if you don't know exactley what you want and know where to look for deals, you'll end up with a bin full of parts you never even used and the price tag climbs high.

I 100% agree with other posters that it's better to have an ar15 first, get intimate with it and it's internals, learn how they work and how to disassemble for cleaning. Them you'll start noticing things like "oh I wish the trigger was lighter and crisper"... or "I wish I had a full length rail for different optic options" etc (your milage may vary).

The ee is a good place to look for deals, but always double check the price at dealers because if you don't know what you are looking at you won't be able to tell the difference between a Norinco and a VLTOR (ok that's a bit of a stretch lol)

My advice would be to by a quality, inexpensive rifle when they come up on sale from dealers, or find something in the EE that has not been changed alot. My favorite part about the ar platform is how modular and unique each piece can be. For example there are some colt products right now being brought in by several dealers for reasonable prices well under the budget you are looking at.

Daniel Defense is also and excellent mid ranged price tag ar15. Get something and spend the extra money on ammo. Then later on you can start playing around with changing the furnature, upgrading internals (if you want), different rail systems, etc.

Have fun!

I buy my guns, and if I want something done, I take it to reputable people who stand behind what they do.

I do this for two reasons.

1 I already have other hobbies where I build things and constantly am working on them, so I don't what to split up my time any further.

2 When I go shooting, I want flawless operation, not a day of playing what did I do wrong/why don't these parts work with eachother out of the box. I see way too many people constantly playing with their home built AR's because of ftf fte etc at my local ranges. That just isn't fun for me

Though I do agree learn the rifle on a cheap platform
I did nea15
But
I have now built 2 high end rifles for 2000.00 +- tax in
Comparable to buy is over 2500.00 plus tax
Plus Extra if you want to change anything
