I've decided to try smoothing out my trigger, before purchasing a NM 2-stage system.

Trigger is from a DPMS lower parts kit. Very heavy & gritty.
I fired at least 600 rds (and dry fired abouts 100 times) and no sign of improvement :(

There's Tetra Grease on the pins and sear. Helps a little.
Also ordered a JP reduced power spring kit. Will install it tomorrow.

Can i remove some grittyness by polishing the trigger pin with steel wool ?

What's the correct procedure so I don't f*ck up my trigger group ?

I can recomed the Rocky River Arms 2llb trigger, easy install and a sharp trigger pull. Improves overll accuracy.

but steel wool works well too...

Hey, the JP reduced power spring set is great :D
When installing, I just cleaned and lubed the pins and sear.
Nothing more needed. I don't have a trigger pull gauge, but i estimate the pull to be just over 5 pounds.
Gives me a nice single stage... Perfect for service rifle matches
