So, doing some research ahead of time; I'm looking for a trigger for my Daniel Defense!
Alright, so the milspec trigger in it is already serviceable, and that's fine. However, I am a fan of good two stage triggers, and I was thinking of an adjustable. I may go single stage, I just use 2 stage on all of my precision rifles and pistols. Trigger tech? Hyperfire? Geissele?

Best bang for the $$ would be the TriggerTech. It's "almost" a two-stage trigger with the very short take-up before hitting the wall. You can turn it down for precision shooting and crank it back up if you go shoot competition where you need a minimum trigger weight.

I also have Geissele SSA and SSA-E triggers and they are nice and crisp but I was very impressed with the TriggerTech and would buy one again in a heartbeat.

Thats good to know, I bought a TiggerTech and love it but I don't have anything to compare it to so I`ve always wondered how it compared to the other brands. Got it on offer too which only sweetened the deal, only downside was I wanted a flat trigger but they were out of stock at the time

I personally stay away from any enclosed trigger packs like CMC or Trigger Techs. Not that it's happened to me but I have witnessed a few serious shooters encounter reset failures due to carbon fouling inside the trigger packs.
For me, I'm a big fan of the ALG ACT triggers, plus I'm currently running geissele Super Dynamics, both the enhanced and the combat as well as their super Tricon triggers.

Geissele makes expensive triggers, but with that you get guaranteed quality, and reliability. For me one does not exist without the other.

Limited experience with AR's (but lots with other platforms) and have no experience with most of the triggers mentioned here but I bought a Trigger Tech and I'm completely satisfied.

I bought an FN Sporting AR, it came with a Timney and I am very satisfied with that trigger. I also use the Timney in my precision bolt rifles and really like them so it was no surprise when i liked the trigger in my AR. Plus side is they are very good quality and reasonably priced.

Was doing some research on triggers when I found this. It is an example of how a comparison report/article should be done. Well written and relies on pure scientific data and test methodology. It does not cover them all but was a great read. I am going with a TT flat face myself.
