By law you are allowed to only use 5 for rifle but....
If the magazine was designed for 20/30 etc.. rounds then you have to pin them at 5. If the magazine of 10 was designed for a pistol then you can legally use it on the rifle.
Here's the not so funny thing.... The moment you insert the mag, it is now prohibited!!!!!!
But you can still use it!
Who comes up with this sh!t?
Obviously someone who doesn't know anything about firearms
No, a pistol mag is not prohibited if it fits in a rifle. And the rifle isn't prohibited either. Firearm and magazine classifications are two seperate entities in the code. Magazines are simply classified by what they were designed and intended to be used in, not what firearm they HAPPEN to be usable with.
this now the 4th or 5th time I've said this.
We need a f**king sticky.
There is a Sticky.... It's in Questar's forum, of course that isn't as highly travelled as some other sections of the forum of course.

That is how it was explained to me. It never made sense!
Thanks!
Little mags hold more bullets than the big mags, makes perfect sense.
The mags must be very small if they only hold bullets. Never seen or heard of them before.??
