What is the max magazine capacity for AR15 (restricted) cal. 22 rimfire
allowable ?

On a practical note, my CMMG .22 AR-15 conversion kit comes with 27 round magazines.

You are thinking of the 10 round mags for 5.56/.223. Some ar-15 lowers are registered as pistols. Centerfire pistols can have 10 round mags. The RCMP allowed the use of these 10 round mags in AR-15's registered as rifles as well as pistols.

But yeah, a rim fire AR-15 can have an unlimited size magazine.
