I have a colt hbar 20 barrel with the a2 front sight block pinned on with NO bayo lug

I want a bayo lug I have an a2 front sight block with the bayo lug but it is NOT drilled for the taper pins.....

so is there any way drill the taper pin holes so they match my barrel?

was thinking about using the front sight that's on it as a template and clamp the two together and drill not sure it would work

any input??

The holes are tapered, so you need a reamer. The TNA kit looks like it would do. I’ve built a few AR’s with FSB’s (barrels and FSB’s were already cut for pins) but I’ve never attempted this as I’d want a drill press and some quality machining tools.

You’re better off sending it out, if they screw it up they replace it, if you screw it up then your replace it.

If you do try this, good luck! Let us know how it turns out.

Bushmaster installs the FSB on their DCM target rifles with loktite. I have one and the fsb hasn’t moved.

I’ve since done the same on a couple rifles using Green creeping loctite and they haven’t moved either. A heat gun is all you need to remove them.
