I had a 20", 16.1", 14.5" and 10.5", I like the 14.5". Compact and does not sacrifice performance.
I sure hope you aren't talking about ballistic performance or terminal performance. Both results fall far short of that produced by a 16" or 20". Accuracy has little to do with barrel length. Its about velocity which is affected by barrel length as well as projectile mass.

I hear you, it sure would be nice to take my AR15 with 30 round mags out to shoot gophers again like before doublewide Kim Campbell screwed us, I really hate stupid gun laws.![]()
