AR15 Bipod for a SPR project

Guys whats the best to get? Versapod? Harris? Other brand? I want something fairly sturdy. Also what do I need to mount it to the rail, I have looked and have only seen a few bipods that come with picatinny attachments. Wheres the best place to buy these bipods? Thanks

Versapod makes an adapter that clamps onto the bottom pic rail (model 611/621), also several companies make pic to Harris adapters so really it's a matter of preferance.
I used a bare bones Harris for years and found it fine for run of the mill range plinking, however you might want to get something a little nicer if you're wanting to do competitions, etc.

After more reading it seems that Versapod might be pos, where do I go for Atlas Precision in Canada? Are they a copy of the old Parker hale type?

Totaly agree exspecaily if it's the tubed hand gaurd. Although Vltor does make a really nice one if speed isn't a factor.
