AR15 birdcage flash hider question

So I'm familiar with the A1 flash hiders with the 6 slots all the way around, and the A2 version with the five slots and solid bottom.... but had anyone ever seen one with a solid bottom AND top? Two slots on either side, four slots total. Came into my possession recently.... I've never seen one before.

I have several of them. Not sure of the origin although lots of guys here saying they are C9. If true, not sure how they got out onto the civilian market?

They replaced them with a different design during an upgrade. Could have been sold off after, who knows.

That was definitely the style used on the C9 for a bit. Don't think there is a surefire way to tell if it is actually from the CF or not.
