Yeah, bringing the entire bcg is overkill, but I already own it and it's a quick/complete package that keeps the firing pin and firing pin....pin from bending.
I throw it in my range bag for matches and training days.
You got me thinking now, maybe I'll break it down and just bring the bolt/firing pin/firing pin-pin.
Range bag keeps getting heavier and heavier...
I carry a spare bolt/cam pin/firing pin/cotter pin in the grip of my AR.
Just remember. 10 months ago there were NO spare anythings around. Having a few BGCs ...and yes bolts..pins etc. Just makes sense.
Buy little bits now. It may happen again before you know it.
