AR15 buttstock on CQ311?

Anyone know if the AR15 tactical buttstock assembly available at Arms East will fit a Norinco CQ311?

If it is a carbine style stock, or one that requires the buffer tube changed, it will require some ingenuity. The buffer tube threads on the Norinco receiver are metric, while all others are SAE.

It can be made to fit by forcing.

There are several threads in the Black Rifle forum where board members have "converted" Norcs to take standard buffer tubes.

Myself and Kano did it to his CQ. Took a vice, lots of lube and some patience but at the end of the day it was secure and looked good

Turn on threads, back it off, clean threads, add oil, repeat.

True that, definatly easier with two men. I haven't tried it, but I think if I wanted to, my CQ would still accept the original bufer tube if I wanted to go back.
