Anybody here shooting with a 223 Wylde chambered AR15 ?

What is your experience with it ? I have a build ongoing right now and I picked up a brand new 10.5" 223 Wylde barrel on the EE (couldnt find a 10.5" in 5.56nato at the time without paying for the brand).

So 223 Wylde it is. I know I won't be using the accuracy potential of the 223Wylde shooting 223rem. The AR will only be shooting 5.56 for CQB matches and what not. I will probably scope it just for fun and see what it can do at longer range. I know steel case dont work well in the chambering from reading on other ar15.com. What else should I know ?

If you stick with quality western ammo. 556 or 223 works well. My buddy has a pws piston gun in 223 wylde and his has been pretty tits mcgee.

Edit. When i say quality that doesn't mean match. good bulk stuff like federal independence m193 or lake city m855 to name a few are also what i mean. Just not the barnaul crap.

I have a Wylde chambered AR and it's been shooting 223 lake city real good! Surprisingly accurate! Haven't had a single issue with it.

From what I've read 223 Wylde is the optimal combination for both 223 & 556, accuracy is supposed to be off the scale

If I build an AR it will most likely be in 223 Wylde, or maybe 224 Valkyre (theres incredible hype around it) but I suspect it'll be pricey for a while being a new cartridge and all

I have an older 14” NEA 15 barrelled AR in 223 wylde. It is sub moa with AE 223. Consistently prints 3/4” groups.

I haven’t bothered dialing in a reload for it as it shoots so well with this cheap ammo.
