AR15 Crew: Rail selection help needed

So I bought my 2nd AR 15 - in all honesty it was out of impulse and I love it.

It's a Bushmaster XM15-E2s
16" Hbar 1/9

I'm looking for rail suggestions. I would like to buy a longer rail and apply a gas block instead of the front sight. What does CGN suggest?

My other AR 15 isa

Stag lower with
14.5 Heavy Barrel 1/9
With a 12" troy free float rail (I think)
Aimpoint ML2
and 300m

I'm not familiar with the AR as the fact that they are DI yet there is a gas bar along the barrel??? how does this function?

I would go Free float either Daniel defense RIS2 or Lite rail, or Larue, or KAC Midlength.

Your "realistic" choices are Troy and Daniel Defence. You can get both off the store.
