Just picked up my AR15 from the FFL dealer. Trudeau didn’t get this one. It is now happily residing in the Republic of Texas. I am now gleefully drilling out the rivets on my 30 round P-Mags. It took 4 months to import, still waiting on the rest of my guns.
congrats.
would have been easier to sell thosemags and buy fresh and free ones there or something that i do not know?

It takes less than a minute to drill the rivet and file the rim of the hole. It is super satisfying! Setting my capacity free! Oh, no trigger lock and in a cardboard box in the car too!
Keep the pinned mags and show them to every Texan as a warning of what may happen down the road.

Good for you!
Question: Did you have to import to the USA through the same company that exported it originally? I heard something about "re-import" being an exemption to the US "sporting purposes" import law. Remember how the Israeli-made TAR-21 could not be imported to the States.
