This probably has been posted before but I've never seen it. I have this one AR that has driven me nuts for a year, with stovepipes and fail to eject Often the case would end up backwards, crushed in between the bolt and chamber. Or at the least an empty case would end up sitting on top of an empty mag when the BCG locks back. It's a 7.62x39, I have several of them that operate normally.
I tried different buffers, different buffer springs, replacing extractors and ejectors, lubrication...
So finally I figure it's time to get an adjustable gas block and try that out, but first I took one more look at the intraweb, and stumbled on this video.

I dug into my pockets and came up with 2 quarters. Installed them and tried it out. Problem fixed, just like that, for 50 cents. Shot 50 rounds of 2 different types of ammo and it all worked perfectly.
The video creator says this shouldn't be considered a permanent fix, but damn, it sure works!
