AR15 from parts bin to finished rifle

I always found it amusing how all the parts for an entire rifle fit into such a small box. It really doesn't look like much.

This order was called in yesterday afternoon.

Today, after an hour and a half or so of work, that bucket of parts is a complete rifle ready to go to the range.

nice looking rifle, but really, 2900? That is a little bit ridiculous, and I am not one who thinks you should just go out and buy all norincos because of their lower price either.

2900 isnt a bad price for a high-end custom AR (especially one made in Canada). The two LMTs ive built are over $3500 each, and the two Armalites ive built were over $2500 apiece.

ARs are super costly if you want anything above a Norc, or any KISS rifle.

Pretty close. The one glaring error in your list is the upper receiver is a COLT, not a DPMS. So it is a bit more spendy than what you budgeted. Some of your prices on the small parts are a bit low as well. We can't buy a delta ring assembly for what you listed.

The iron sights are YHM and are really nice. We had terrible trouble sourcing Troy's so ended up going with the YHM's and ended up liking them better. They are also a bit cheaper than Troy's so that is a win all around.

That is what we are going for. The rifle is built to the exact requirements of the customer. No buying crap you don't want in order to get a few parts you do want. Every part is spec'd by the customer (predicated upon what we can get of course) so these rifles are true custom builds. The end result being that they cost a bit more.

To date we have not built two identical rifles. So each one is uniquely the owner's.

Yup, that isn't a bad price................My last build was my MK 12 Mod 0 SPR clone, and if I had to pay retail for all the parts it would have ran around $4000.00 .............................
