Thx for the help seriously frustrated

First - Stop.

Second - Find an assistant, lovely or otherwise.

Third - Have the assistant hold the upper and lay the front post on something SOLID with as much of the area around the pins supported. Your lap is not such a surface. Nor is your kitchen table.

Fourth - take a punch, one that is much larger than the diameter of the pins (5/16" or 3/8"), and not made of brass, and with a large-ish hammer, beat each pin (like it owes you money) until they have become flush with the sight post.

Fifth - with a smaller punch, preferably one slightly smaller than the smallest diameter of the taper pin, beat the pin the rest of the way through. Shorter is better for this punch. A six inch long punch is going to bend or break

As long as you have a second pair of hands, decent punches , and a solid/stable surface - these pins are not that difficult to get out
