AR15 lower ATRS, CADEX or DLASk OR other?

Ah yes, I see what you're saying. Personally I've never accidentally hit the left side mag release and those larger grooves don't really appeal to me. To each his own I guess.

Whose upper is that on the upper picture I like how angular it is (plus the maple leaf is cool), I was looking for a lower with angles/fences on the bolt/ambi mag release like your hera. Really like it.

Ok guys,

I got it down to these 4 lowers

KAC, just not as cool design wise. no custom options available

Good reputation.

AX556

only true ambi and has a tension pin, accepts 45 degree selectors, and it has a bolt catch activated by mag release.

ATRS AT15

Lacking a few nice options, but it is easy to request accurate fitment with my upper, for no wobble, can choose some custom markings. Local support, but I don't plan on needing support.

HERA ARMS

Super cool design, cool markings, nice options, not sure if it is as ambi as ax556.

Hard choice,

I need a high quality, 2 stage trigger like a glock, with option to do custom engraving with tight fit.

ATRS can do pretty much any custom engraving. I personally chose a Timney for my 7.5"
I had custom engraving done just about everywhere including fire control markings. NOT ONLY THAT....I got to pick my own serial number. You were talking about something for a lifetime? why not add personal touches?
Also their bolt release near trigger finger shaves .5 second off my reload time!

If you're not Gecko45 you must be his little brother.

well ignore Dietz ignorant comments. and just move on as if he was not posting at all lmao.

ATRS does give us the option to custom serial number it. I am looking into AX556 for custom work, KAC seems least attractive design wise.

Short List

Ax556
Hera
ATRS

I guess once I hear back from AX556 maker about engraving we can cross it off or not.

Anyone ever found an AR 2 stage trigger that is "like a glock"?

I've farted around with a few different triggers, and am now using the Geissele 2 stage triggers. I think that's pretty much the consensus of everyone these days. Haha. Timney's are nice single stage triggers with no slack - but I don't like their proprietary trigger housing that's impossible to repair. They do have life time warranties though.

Who carries the AX556 in Canada?

Can you get an ATRS with a Geissele trigger system instead of the other stock options? Didn't know about the personalized engravings and serial number. That's cool.

Just buy it separately and send it to ATRS during your build. They'll install it no charge. Or have them just install the basic trigger that comes with the LPK and swap it yourself - trigger swap is 15 minutes if you've never done it before.

We can supply pretty much any trigger/LPK/AR part on the market.
We stock some Geissele triggers as well as Timney, and several others.
AND buying ATRS products means supporting a CANADIAN company.

I've swapped out my AR triggers etc but the earlier post by ATRS said that because of the way they do their setup, it's best they fit the trigger system to ensure that it functions trouble free.

I've been doing some homework the last few days and while the price of the ATRS lower seems high, all things considered, compared to the other options, it's not THAT far out there or they are at par with the other options and is fully ambi. Now with options for custom engravings, (to borrow a line in Django) you had my curiosity.... now you have my attention. :)

The trigger in their lower doesn't require anything special. Some detents do, but not the trigger. I just swapped mine without any problems.

I had a problem with the DPMS ambi safety and stripped the screw that connects the right side selector to remove it to change out the Timney trigger. I had to do some modifying of my MOE grip where the regular safety selector spring sits into to fit the Hera MPSS properly. Took about 5-10 minutes with some drill bits but nothing too complicated.
