AR15 lowers accepting Glock magazines

I'll take an 11.5", and cut it down to 10.5" to get rid of the "flash supressor" and thread it for a nice brake.

Let me know a price please.

Thanks!

-Jamie M.

9mm 11.5' version would be great , would be even better with a flat top. Can`t think of anything better to use all my glock mags on.

I've gotten pricing details... still waiting for a final answer about Flat Top (not shown by Olympic Arms as being available).

Canadian price will be $1,249.00 plus tax.

Still trying to confirm delivery date but guessing orders placed now would arrive late January.

Can you fit Colt upper on this Glock/Oly lower?

Nope. The Colt pattern 9mm uppers feed from a double stack mag. Olympic use a single feed mag.

This gun will wind up being a stand alone model. You won't be swapping uppers and lowers. Although I suppose one could get a 9mm and .40 top end for the same lower. It should take most other stocks, furnature, trigger parts, etc.

they are cheaper than oly arms. most of the 9mm glocks are running even longer. usually 2-4 months to deliver. check out AR15.com threads there. horror stories about service from oly , rifle is excellant though.

If it`s a flattop, I`ll take one !

Any news yet on these AR's? According to AR15.com, some people really were waiting and waiting and waiting...but it does seem to be a bit better now. They also mentioned that flattop units were available...one of the members already had one and was giving his range report! Checked Questars website, but no mention of it yet...

Damn, those would be fun.

Especially if I lived in the states and could use full cap Glock 18 mags.

Anyhow, what's the deal with Oly arms not being compatible?

Different dimensions or do they just want to be different and "exclusive" ? :?

I'm still waiting for final info on flat-tops. The guns would be available (one of my distributors has some in his inventory right now and assures me he can get what I want before the permits would be fully processed so the guns won't be the hold-up). The wait is for the permits. Figure 12 to 16 weeks from the date I give him the order. At this point I'm just waiting for final word on flat-tops and then I'll put up on our website what is available to order and the prices.

From there its just a matter of place your order... put down a deposit and off we go.

To answer the question about the compatibility... it's not a mil-spec AR modified to shoot pistol caliber... it's a modified AR designed like a GLOCK lower and with a modified design upper as well. This is a dedicated gun... uppers and lower will not be interchangeable with other AR's. If that's what you're looking for then this is not the model for you.

I think the flat top is just a replacement option, here is a pic of the lower with a flattop.

ah you guys should just stick to the original colt guys they work and they had 32 rnd mags of course they are 5rnd now fCTORY 10.25 barrel
sure the glock lowers give you 10 rnds but you cannot just pull the blocks out drop on your .223 upper and go! :D

It says flattops from Oly are available here, WWW.ATLANTICFIREARMS.COM

So it would be about 4 months to bring these in? How much deposit do you require? and lastly, these just use standard Glock 17 magazines?

OZZ... I don't see the K9GL on their website. They list 9mm AR's but not the version we're talking about.... either that or I just keep missing it.
