AR15/M16 Compensator Reviews + Information

Some people may get pissy about a compensator on your rifle at SR matches. I was at one here in BC a couple years later where a couple guys (who will remain nameless) wanted me tossed for having a stag comp on my rifle. Not even a space gun comp, but one like this:

That is basically what I WAS running on my CQB rifle. Terrible for mod-prone. :)

Bolivar;

Those brakes sure were funny at the clinics I've been running out west. Lots and lots of a laughs. And that's why we enforce the wearing of ballistic glasses!

Cheers,
Barney

Bc guy they tried the same sheit with me one time when I shot my own gun that has a factory 2 gill on it. There is no such rule for SR in BC so you can tell whoever that was to pound sand.
I think,as far as traditional service rifle goes(1-12),it comes down down to this. If you are loosing points because of your muzzle break...you have much bigger problems to worry about. Ipsc I can understand, but in 1-16 a fancy break is going to give you a negligible advatage.

Well put! I like the "sand" part.:stirthepot2:

Good lord....it certainly looks impressive. How do you like it?

Recoil is less than air gun. All gas goes back to shooter.

It's the best MB I can found. Too bad it's still not 100% perfect - bolt movement still disturb the sight picture. Guess there is nothing I can do with that.

I shoot last CQB with it. M-prone is impossible. Lots of stone hit my face.

I eventually wrap jacket on my head to finish M-prone.

LOL ... I want to get a J.P. Enterprises A15/M16 compensator... but I got this one to try out at the upcoming Service Rifle match.

Apparently, the J.P. Enterprises A15/M16 compensator is:

***NOTE*** SIR: HAVE CANCELED 452-015-120
***NOTE*** SIR: DUE TO DDTC RESTRCTIONS ON SME
***NOTE*** (SIGNIFICANT MILITARY EQUIPMENT) WE
***NOTE*** HAVE CANCELED ITEM(S) FROM YOUR ORDER.
***NOTE*** WE REGRET THE INCONVENIENCE.THANK YOU.

The only possible shooting issue being the modified prone... but that also comes into play in an IPSC rifle match too.

I may not shoot that well yet... but I get to learn all kinds of stuff and play around... what more could a guy want.

Oh, yeah... duh... to shoot a perfect match. Okay... I am almost finished laying the foundation for that... LOL.

BTW... if you think that the NATO Standard A2 Flash Hider is not going to make a big dust cloud when you shoot modified prone over sand... well, then you've never shot modified prone over sand with an A2 Flash Hider... LOL
