Norinco leads the poll only because of its affordability,I'd rather the colt..but for the sake of "more bang for your buck" Norinco was my choice.

I own a Norc, and I love it! It functions flawlessly with .223 and with my CMMG .22lr conversion kit. I guess I could have bought one of the "real" ones, but I put the cash into a black rifle I can actually hunt with and carry in the bush; I bought an XCR

The list goes on and on, I'm just throwing out names of some large makers you missed. (Blue Line is large for Canada).

Also, I don't agree with which companies you lumped together. For example, Remngton is a rebadged Bushmaster, yet you lump it with DPMS. RRA and Bushmaster have little in common IMHO. If anything, I would have put RRA with Armalite.
