AR15 quality levels?

Dangertree just publicly offered to exchange the defective magazine you received with the rifle. You haven't posted one response saying that you would like to accept his offer.

Then you change your story from there being several magazines you received from Arms East that don't work, to just the one from Arms East and the other you purchased as an after-market accessory from a gun shop on the opposite side of the country...and this defective magazine somehow becomes Walter's fault as well???? Talk about convoluted logic!

You really don't know what you are talking about, and obviously don't read English very well. Read my post again. In an effort to save typing time, I included the mag that came with the gun as one of the mags that I bought. OK? There was an offer to replace the mags that I purchased from A.E. but I never directly purchased the mags there, so the offer was to replace any mags purchased there. So I am out of luck, and let me make this perfectly clear, there has never been an offer to exchange the mags before this recent post. Period. The advice was to bend the feed lips. So in an effort to end this once and for all, I have no ill or positive feelings toward Walt. Only that he never returned my original two querries over the course of a year and before I ever joined CGN. Stag did not answer the first two e-mails as well. Can I draw a conclusion from my experience? Yes. I would rather cramm these two mags up my A$$ than get two new ones or justify my stance on this particular product. Is that clear enough for you?

ROTFLMFAO -Great, now I have to clean my keyboard - I just exhaled coffee through my nose onto it. You should put a warning on those posts.:D That's one of the funniest things I've seen on CGN.

Okay beside all the talk that this AR is better than this companies, does anyone on this entire forum that does not work for any company or have invested interest in the AR debate! Have real factual information which is the best AR out there?

All set the parameters of the debate!
1st straight out of the box, no upgrades
2nd cost has no boundaries here
3rd Explain why with detail including technical data.

Hopefully people that have actually built these rifles would like to comment for a change.

Just because you read something somewhere doesn't necessarily make it true. Just because some industry writer publishes an article in a trade magazine DOES NOT make the information contained in that article true or accurate. There are mistakes published all the time... many of the so-called "writers" are far from experts. Many publish articles solely to get FREE STUFF. Many of the articles are biased... when was the last time you read a trade publication where the author of the story trashed the product? Such articles are bad for business... and it is a business. The writer won't get his "FREE STUFF" and the publication may lose an advertiser (and the advertising dollars are what keep them in business).

Alas, a paragraph of naked wisdom.

Interesting discussion. We start with AR recommendations, and end up with magazines in the bedroom.

I am a Stag fan myself. I found the customer service at AE to be top notch. And yes, the cheap metal mags suck, I trampled one of them and it stopped working reliably. I did not cry about it too much.

Pictures ?

I'm glad some got the joke. I know it's a very serious subject, and making light of such an earth shattering topic often envokes the wrath of idiots. I was not dissapointed. I light of frequent requests for pictures of the progress of other projects, would there be any interest in pictures about the progress I'm making with my non Stag CP mags? I just got a new digital cam an I'm dying to practice with it. If there is not sufficient interest, I will be sending some pictures of some wolf poop I found with baby deer hooves inside the poop. Put your coffee down first.

I hope that noone minds me posting this chart. It would probably help answer alot of questions posted here.
Its doubtful that many of these models will be easily available in Canada.
