AR15 selector for lefty

Can I just remove the selector and install it from the right side so that the selector doesn't ride under my trigger finger? This is on an SP1 lower. It looks like it should work either way????

No the retainer Detent and the blocking surfaces are side specific you need to get a lefty selector.

I've never seen a lefty only safety - only ambi ones. Doesn't mean they don't exist, but I've never seen one.

As stated, no, you wouldn't be able to just switch the safety around. The JP enterprise safety is an option, but a less expensive option would be to just buy an ambidextrous safety and remove the switch on the left hand side.

Brownells has ambi selectors for around $30.
